For law firms
One partner for your firm's website, rankings, and intake.
I own and run recordinglaw.com, one of the largest legal information sites on the web, and I bring the same machine to law firms: a site that earns trust, rankings that bring free leads, and intake that turns them into signed clients.

recordinglaw.com, by the numbers
recordinglaw.com is a legal information site I own and run as a working testbed for the exact techniques I sell. It has earned citations from The New York Times and The Washington Post, and AI answer engines send it real visitors every day.

The whole system, in the order your firm buys it
1. The website
Design and development that earns trust
A fast, modern site with the credibility a firm needs: clear practice areas, real reviews, and a build that loads instantly on any phone.
2. Free leads
SEO and AI answer visibility
Rankings compound. I engineer practice-area and city pages that rank in Google and Bing, and structure the site so AI answers cite your firm.
3. The nitty gritty
Intake, follow-up, and tracking
Every lead lands in your CRM with its source attached, follow-up goes out instantly, client letters generate from your case board, and you see cost per signed client, not cost per click.
Two ways to work with me
Path one
Built and run for you
I design, build, and run the whole system: the site, the content engine, technical SEO, AI answer visibility, ads when they make sense, and conversion tracking down to the signed client. One senior person, nothing subcontracted, measured monthly.
Path two
Built with you, then yours
I set up the system, integrate AI into your firm's workflow, and teach your people to run it. Once AI is part of how you publish, the developer treadmill becomes optional: run it yourself, keep me in the background on autopilot, or bring me back only when you want to build something new.
Straight pricing
My standard rate is $300 an hour. On retainer the effective rate is $200 an hour with a 20 hour monthly minimum. Builds are scoped as fixed projects before work starts. No percentage of ad spend, no lock-in, and you own everything: the code, the content, and the accounts.
Common questions
- What makes you different from a legal marketing agency?
- I am one senior person who builds and runs the whole system myself: the website, the SEO, the AI answer visibility, the intake automation, and the tracking. Nothing is subcontracted, and I prove my methods on recordinglaw.com, a legal information site I own and run.
- Do you only work with firms in Edmonton?
- I am in Edmonton and work with firms in Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary. Everything runs over Google Meet and a shared dashboard, so anywhere in Alberta works.
- Can you work with our existing site?
- Sometimes. If the bones are good I improve what is there. If it is a slow WordPress build, moving to a modern stack on the same domain with every URL preserved usually pays for itself, and rankings are preserved in the move.
- What happens after the site ranks?
- That is where most firms leak money: leads arrive and sit in an inbox. I wire intake so every lead lands in your CRM with its source attached and a follow-up already sent, and I track everything from first click to signed client.
- What does it cost?
- My standard rate is $300 an hour. On a monthly retainer the effective rate drops to $200 an hour with a 20 hour minimum. Site builds are scoped as fixed projects up front, so you know the number before we start.
